Narration:
Engineering Safety Investigation conducted on the Three (3) level bank building, sequel to the observation of;
- Settlement of two (2) columns located within banking hall,
- Shear Cracks were observed on two-floor beams across the banking hall,
- Rainwater ingress into second-floor toilets & corridors from the cover slab at the rear.
Report of the investigation concluded that;
- The Two (2) No structural columns are repaired, together with their footings,
- The Two (2) No Structural beams across the banking hall be repaired outrightly,
- The cover slab & its support system be Retrofitted to prevent moisture ingress (through grouting, the introduction of parapet walls & drain pipe),
